DAY ONE | June 23

Local Farm Partner: Ramona Farms

Partnering with Ramona Farms is an opportunity to share the rich, delicious heritage of Arizona-grown black-eyed peas and garbanzo beans. These beans have been cultivated in the Sonoran Desert for centuries, a tradition that traces back to the early 1700s, when the Akimel O’Odham people first planted them. Today, Ramona Farms continues this legacy, growing these crops on the very land that has nourished generations of ancestors along the Keli Akimel (Old Man River). We are honored to celebrate and share these deep-rooted culinary traditions with you.
