About Erica Chidi
Erica is a writer, educator, strategist and entrepreneur working at the intersection of health, innovation, and culture. A former full-spectrum doula, she co-founded LOOM-an education platform helping people develop body literacy-which was later acquired by Perelel Health.
Erica translates research-backed health concepts into plain language and usable practices. She’s the author of Nurture and creator of Soft Boundaries, a widely read newsletter on wellbeing and tending to your inner world. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, and more. She is also the former co-host of The goop Podcast, where she led conversations at the nexus of wellbeing and culture.
Across her writing, retreats, and advisory work with mission-driven companies, Erica’s approach is trauma-aware and experience-informed, pairing somatic education with pragmatic care models that last. She teaches people to notice, name, and normalize their signals-then build small, sustainable practices around them.
Erica’s aim is simple: to help people cultivate a “softer life”-one that honors both ambition and ease, productivity and rest. When she’s not working, she finds grounding in nature, cooking, singing, thoughtful television and film, and the slow-living principles she teaches.
