Kristi Schumaker
Kristi has been practicing hands-on bodywork since 1994. As a longtime dancer, fitness trainer and yogini, bodywork proved an effortless transition and fulfilled her interest in anatomy and service. Her background as an educator also bolstered her role as a massage therapist and advocate for body knowledge. She specializes in Structural Integration Therapy which focuses on the connective tissues’ role in posture, function and pain. She has advanced studies in Japanese Shiastu with Waturo Ohashi and structural bodywork with Osteopath Ron Murray. Her sessions are heartfelt, thorough and evidence based. In her spare time, she can be found hiking with her rescue dog and playing in the field of ceramics.
