Meet Gita Wagner

After a car accident in her early twenties created a spiritual opening, Gita traveled Europe, North Africa and India to practice meditation, yoga, Zen Buddhism and Sufism. During those years she received extensive training in several wholistic healing arts, such as biodynamic and psychic massage, rebirthing, hypnosis and spiritual therapy. In the 1990’s, now living in Europe, her work with people began to focus on Developmental Trauma Healing, Systemic Family Constellations (B. Hellinger), Essence Work (F. Muqquadam, A.H. Almaas), the neuroscience of attachment (D. Siegel, D. Poole-Heller) and Somatic Experiencing™ (P. Levine).

Since then Gita has been creating and teaching somatic trauma healing intensives, residential retreats for women and has mentored somatic psychotherapists, energy workers and meditation teachers. She co-developed Emotional Intelligence retreats for Daimler-Chrysler Germany which she facilitated at Daimler’s management training academy from 2001 until moving to the US in 2005.

Gita resides in Sedona, Arizona, a beloved home base for her work in private practice, as a leader for Path Retreats Global, and as a master therapist for Mii amo for 14 years.
